Bacteriochlorophyll

Bacteriochlorophylls are oxygen. They use wavelengths of light not absorbed by plants. Different groups contain different types of bacteriochlorophyll:

Bacteriochlorophyll a Purple bacteria, Chloracidobacterium thermophilum[1]
Bacteriochlorophyll b Purple bacteria
Bacteriochlorophyll c Green sulfur bacteria, Chloroflexi, Cab. thermophilum
Bacteriochlorophyll d Green sulfur bacteria
Bacteriochlorophyll e Green sulfur bacteria
Bacteriochlorophyll g Heliobacteria

Bacteriochlorophylls c and d are chlorins, with one pyrrole ring, and the others are bacteriochlorins, with two.
