Fluorichterite [ skarn formation and the alteration it undergoes produces many odd and rare minerals like fluorichterite. Wilberforce is a small settlement near Bancroft, Ontario, a town known as the Mineral Capital of Canada. Wilberforce is a well known locality for these rare minerals.
