Phenomenological thermodynamics

Phenomenological thermodynamics is a branch of classical thermodynamics, is considered the pre 1870s branch of thermodynamics, developed before the atomists, concerned with phenomena such as heat flows between bodies, energy conservation, and the behavior of gases.
