Terahertz spectroscopy

Terahertz frequency radiation for spectroscopy is typically generated in one of three ways:

• TDTS), using ultrashort laser pulses
• frequency domain terahertz spectroscopy (FDTS), mixing two radiation sources to generate their sum or difference
• Fourier transform spectroscopy, using a blackbody radiation source
